You've seen news reports about people who need assistance after a natural disaster or animals in need. Maybe your heart as been tugged at over a news story from a family suffering a disease or military loss, or you've walked past people who are living on the streets.  Or you have heard about an organization that you believe is making a difference to your community and want to find out more.

So what can you do about any of those things, you ask? The answer: You can volunteer.

Volunteering gives you an opportunity to change people's lives, including your own. If you're feeling frustrated or overwhelmed by the news of a disaster, or a disease, or any cause that touches you, volunteering to help can be a great way to cope. If you'd like to support but can't afford to donate money, you can donate your time instead.
coolhausWORKS is very proud of it’s staff members and feels honored to identify some of the various contributions to the community.
